Black Girl Dangerous |
Black Girl Dangerous is a place where queer women and trans* people of color can make our voices heard on the issues that interest us and affect us, where we can showcase our literary and artistic talents, where we can cry it out, and where we can explore and express our “dangerous” sides: our biggest, boldest, craziest, weirdest, wildest selves. Oakland:
This offering is a 4-week workshop, taking place on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 pm, beginning September 18, 2012 (no class October 2nd), in Oakland, CA. We’ll workshop stories, novels, memoirs, essays—whatever prose you’re working on and need support for. We’ll also do writing exercises and read the work of published authors to get ourselves inspired and improve our literary skills. Together, we’ll get our stories ready for the world (or just for ourselves)!
In person, we’ll share food, love, and literature (three of my favorite things).
Online:
